Rock Creek Weed Warriors monitor sites, remove invasive plants, and do other restoration work both individually at our personal work areas and together on monthly group projects.
Weed Warrior Leaders, our most experienced volunteers, frequently organize and lead group events around the park where more volunteer energy is needed.
Many of us also assist the park’s philanthropic partners with their work, and organize in our neighborhoods to support biodiversity and restoration projects.
