Rock Creek Golf Course

March 29, 2024 @ 7:30 am - 10:00 am
Free

Join us and take action to stem biodiversity loss most Fridays (weather permitting) and approximately one Saturday each month! We’ll be removing invasive plants from natural areas of the course slated for ongoing volunteer-driven maintenance. Meet at the golf course parking lot. Gloves and tools will be provided, or bring your own if you have them. Long pants and sleeves, sturdy shoes, water bottle, and a hat are musts. The golf course has a range of habitats, so regardless of your experience level you are bound to learn something new about our region’s native and invasive plant species.

NOTE: All help is welcome, so no problem if you must arrive late or leave early. However, please communicate with the organizer for the day (Brian or Vanessa) by text if arriving late so you can find us.

PROJECT UPDATES: This week we will be removing newly-emerged invasive plants and following up on arborized vines.

RSVP: Joining us at the golf course for the first time? Please RSVP below. If you have been out with us before feel free to just show up.
