This is a follow up on last year’s work, to expand the area cleared of bush honeysuckle. Parking is available at the Maintenance Yard lot.

It's time for a return visit to these sites to further set back the entrenched porcelainberry and allow the now-visible native species to grow unimpeded. Bring hand pruners and dress with poison ivy in mind. Meet at Joyce Road & Beach Drive intersection. Nearest parking is Picnic Grove 6, just north on Beach.

We'll be working in one of the more species-rich sections of the park, so come prepared with your iNaturalist app to help identify infrequently encountered natives. Meet at Picnic Grove 9 parking lot, Beach Drive just north of Sherrill Drive.
